Hi, Why most of the Panels/ Equipment in substations are painted in grey or similar colour? Is it because of any standards?

all equipment manufactured to ANSI 70 standards should have that colour

I am not sure whether any standard is there for this. I think grey colour has better heat radiating property. So it is painted in grey.
