Thanks Mrs. Hafsa fo Invitation,
If we exclude the formal authorities that be given by top Management and-or stock holders , then we need to talk on:
Regards
The ability to influence, motivate and enable others to contribute toward the effectiveness and success of the organizations, the ability to devise new and creative solutions for the prevailing problems in the business or team, being people-oriented, the ability to conceive long term goals/vision keeping people and organization in the mind, the willingness to take great risks in order to achieve distinctive results
The style of being Transformational, Consultative & Participative, having followers through charisma and influence.these are the powers of a leader which help to elevate him/her above all.
inspiring and being different ,let all people love and resprct you because you all value at there lifes ,being a role model and watching your acts all the time it should give you the edge you are looking for.
the power of a leader is in his way to choose his team first, then it comes the way that he treats them.. respecting them, listening to their suggestions, the ability of taking hard decisions, the intelligence of choosing the time and the place to react.
A leader's power comes from the people that follow him and actually consider him a leader. The more people a leader can get to support him, the more powerful he/she will become and the more elevetion he/she will get.
A good leader will get increasing number of followers by being just, fair, proffesional, accessible, efficient, inspiring and by stepping up when circumstances require him/her to do so.
I hope it helped.
Fisrtly, the correct use of his/her authorities and not abusing any of them and secondly, demonstarting Leadership Skills by practicing leadership prinicples
Hope the above points will be help
Best regards,
