GL Segments can be disabled. The Flexfiled Qualifiers can be changed if it is a new implementation, just unfreeze the definition and and change the qualifier.

In Oracle Implementation, when you create Flexfield Qualifier you cannot change or delete it anymore.

The only one option that you can do that you can change description of the Qualifier.

No, it cannot be changed. Once the qualifier is attached to the flexfield we cannot be able to change with ease.

Once a segment qualifier has been designated for a specific segmant and has been saved, it will perminantly have the attributes with that qualifier. Unfortunately, there is no real easy solution for this issue. The only option is to create a new COA & attach a new set of books.
