IFC - Issued For Construction Drawing. - This can include isometrics, layout and P&IDs. They are usually issued after "Issued For FEED Drawings" & "Issued For Review Drawings" both of which are used for tendering, while IFC forms the basis of physical site construction.

Isometric drawings- They are 2 dimensional representation of  3 dimensional entities.

Isometric drawings are for the 3D line representation of different systems for the design development and better understanding purpose. These drawings are part of the IFC in some cases. IFC drawings are sometime tender drawings and some time more details are added to tender drawings to guide the contractor for preparation of shop drawing and construction.

In my opinion,IFC: "Issued for Construction" drawings are released for construction. They are duly approved  by the qualified consultant or engineer(s).

IFC consist of design drawings with high level details and overall assembly with construction notes. Does not show part by part details in IFC unless otherwise it is really necessary.

Isometric drawings are an helicopter view on how a draw is, trying to show how it will be made, but it's just a kind to show IFC drawings for a better space understand.

It is the short form of “Issued for construction”. This is the drawing is given by the consultant or client for construction purposes as well as preparation of shop drawings.

Isometric drawings also called isometric projction is 3D drawing which shows all the three dimensions.
