It is an extremely touchy subject, particularly at this time. Each nation desires to attract workers that have a high level of education, fluency in many languages, and a variety of specialized talents (such as physicians, information technology engineers, building engineers, scientists, and nurses, as well as locksmiths and welders). funny shooter2

It is very sensitive question, especially now. Each country want to bring well educated employees, knowing languages and with specific skills (doctors, IT engineers, building engineers, scientists but also nurses, locksmiths or welders). On the other hand there are a lot of concerns about migration (raising crime, violence, terrorism, health safety, cultural differences, destruction of local labor market). Each country from East to West have specific migration law regulating sensitive cases. Some countries also compensate weak demography using migration, other use it only for bringing cheap workers for simple, low-paid jobs. Summarizing the key to success and achieve positive results for the economy is thought-out migration policy.
