Can BMS control the HVAC split units? What would be additional requirements to control these appliances?

yes we can control , in our project we are using MCP and DDC ctrl panel .MCP is used for knx ctrl while DDC is used for BMS ctrl and then every panel having his own IP address which having his own programed by SIEMENS . as a result all the HVAC system is controlled from DDC nd MCP.....

yes We can control, but they should be completely programmed in Scada Systems.
