What is the difference between food manufacturing and food production?

Both food manufacturing and food production are used interchangeably today. What is your idea?

Food manufacturing is related to machinary and food transformation. Food production can cover all steps of the food chain such as primary production and food service.

every type of manufacturing is production but every production is not a manufacturing.

manufacturing: is a process of converting raw material in to finished product by using various processes,machines and energy.it is a narrow term. production:  is a process of converting inputs in to outputs.it is a border term.

Manufacturing isn't just when producing the product, it includes other stages such as design, sales, management and marketing....

 

Food manufacturing :

The agro-industry in general - and food processing in particular - a central and essential role in the agricultural and food production to the world by making the most of that production, through processing and save it and submit it to the consumer, who became suffers either a scarcity in this production sometimes, or the abundance of untapped some of the other cases where the varying needs of food and necessities to the consumer in the world.

There is a well known fact that it does not have its food does not have his freedom and must work in the light of this fact and in its borders, and in this area we can say that the food processing and agriculture is essential role in died the freedom of the peoples of the world. He is also in our Arab and Islamic.

 

No longer get food from things easy in most countries of the world, especially developing countries, but to become everyday problems Alto human face in most countries, so finding appropriate means to maintain food unfit for consumption image for as long as possible has become the most important things that concern to researchers. As the man gets a daily food needs from different sources it is to field crops and animal plant and animal two kingdoms and wealth, and exposed these foods to corruption during the brief period of harvest or slaughter and some types of this corruption is accompanied by the production of toxic substances and others cause lost in nutritional value and it has a negative impact on the characteristics of the desired quality.

For all this we see that we most need to know how to control the factors of corruption and thus how to maintain the food so it can be consumed in a time and place that we want and we need to know how to make this food to other new products more convenient. From here can be summed up a comprehensive definition of food processing that is the science that looks at the nature of the study, installation, properties, images, methods of consumption, trading, and means of food preservation in addition to studying the changes that occur during food preparation and preservation and storage.

 

 

Food manufacturing goals:
