  1. Be a good listener. Listen to their pain points, problems, concerns. It's ok, if you don't act on it, but listening also makes the person feels good.
  2. Conduct regular review meetings. Even if there is nothing important to discuss, the 5-min review meeting should happen. It builds rapo, and keeps both (the manager and the reportee) on the same page.
  3. Identify potential and conduct trainings for them
