If your building is not provided with fire suppression, then what is the fire pump for? Does the building have a standpipe system? (I hope so) If this fire pump is meant to only provide fire flow for a standpipe system, then the required flow for that system will be outlined in your code of record (e.g. NFPA, ICC, etc.) You will then want to match your pump flow rate and pressure to that of your demand plus a safety margin that will also be outlined in that aforementioned code of record.
