Thanks for the invite.
Leader is one who influences the people to do things which they normally don't. Whereas boss derives his power from his position. Leader can be a guide, mentor, one who leads by example.
A leader commands respect whereas boss demands.
Thanks for the invitation. Leader is the one who leads a project. Boss is under the supervision of a leader. Leader is superior authority while boss works under a leader.
Agreed with expert opinion --------
A leader has his own conviction and clear understanding where he is going take the organization with support from all stakeholders. A leader works through people's mind and incite them to follow towards a goal.
A Boss(manager) executes the activities of project or organisation with the boundaries of set rules and follows the strategic direction of leader.
A leader isa Person who inspires and integrates staff efforts towards desired goals whilst a boss uses power and force to achieve desired goals.

I agree with the answers Mr. Omar Saad Ibrahim
Boss drives employee,Leader coaches them. Boss uses people where leader develops them,
Sometimes Boss inspires fear leader, generate goodwill..Boss interested in himself a leader is interested in group.
I do believe that a leader could be a boss, and a boss could be a leader.
Both portfolios require the holder to be willing to lead and boss. The leader must demand performance from others, and the boss must lead to achieve performance.
Pin my view, there are nuances, but it is difficult to seperate the two concepts, especially in business.
