In order to build good reputation within a new company, you need to interact more frequently with your team, offer help in professional work, spend time in social gatherings in order to establish your likable personality traits. Concerning work reputation, you need to be committed, hard working, organized, efficient, precise, meeting timelines, implement instructions from seniors. Planning, Coordination, communication skills are the first to be noticed followed by leadership by example, problem solving and negotiation

Not possible at all only a bad dream.

Do something they can't do.

It once (in particular) that I  had an excellent reputation before I even joined.  I was waiting for somebody during the first interview process when I happened to overhear a nearby conversation.  The people talking sort of knew that I was a candidate (although they were no involved in the hiring they were part of the team that I was to join) and the conversation was not confidential.  It concerned a particular legal problem that the business was facing.  I happened to know the answer to the problem, so I interrupted and told them the answer, and which point by boss-to-be returned.   They all looked at me like I was some sort of hero, because this question had been bothering the team for a while.

It was pure luck of course, but it got me off to a good start.

To get a good reputation quickly you need to do something slightly dramatic, and you'll need a slice of luck to allow that to happen.

Thanks for the invitation., I agree with the given answers.

Thanks for inviting me to answer your question.

Everyone is eager to show case their talent and capabilities right from the day one and that is very natural for all human beings. What we all fail to understand is :

a) No one is interested in your past/achievements

b) You cannot impress someone by talking the talk.

c) You need time to first understand the company, its operations, its way of functioning, the hierarchy, the reporting pattern, the Chain of commands, the Goals and Philosophy and this all requires time.......Only with time you will come to know about them all.

You must listen from everyone and try to grasp the prevailing situation, also read between the lines why you are there in the organization, what do the management expects from you, Once you have all the answers for above questions then it's your time  and turn to speak up and make everyone ready for the change that you think will ease the work pressure and create a conducive working atmosphere.

1) Work hard, be loyal, punctual and follow the discipline

2) Listen your reporting manager/senior carefully, follow instructions and complete the required task with accuracy but within minimum time.

3) If you do not agree to instruction of reporting manager/senior, give your opinion but do not argue more than one or two times.

4) Upgrade your skills with passage of times.
