Simply the feature of SCADA was demonstrated by NOKIA Company, how, It was the year 2003, the most of the NOKIA customers faced one problem, that is battery blasted. within 1 month period the company found out which factory make the mistake. wherever the batteries were distributed. the searial numbers of the batteries. every thing were founded out easily with the help of SCADA.
SCADA- is now used in every process industries and in Electrical Generation, Transmission and Distribution which have lead to less time of interruption, reliability of system, fault can be located and isolated and restored, less manpower requirement.
PLC are mostly used in process companies, where as for Major Electrical system RTU's are used. With the help of RTUs the real time data of both analog and digital is obtained, command are given to breakers and isolator for its operation without interface of human.
industrial automation is getting advancement and machinery is replacing human and for industrial automation PLC SCADA is the best and more restfullest choice.
Without PLC we can not able to use SCADA.we need to give inputs to SCADA from PLC to display the parameters which we tagged through PLC Memory bits or directly from I/o's.
the future of PLC and SCADA is vide because for any industry productivity is most important and without gathering DATA we never do any analysis and implementation.
