Pareto is wonderful tool. But can it also be dangerous?

According to rule of Pareto% of the problem is caused by% of the employee behavior. And if this behavior can be changed% of the problem is solved.

But if the Pareto analysis is done by a greedy and unethical person he can screw the lives of many employees and can even get a promotion. He may curtail employee benefits and make their life hard by justifying his fat salary. I have a humble suggestion to people higher up who are impressed by Pareto graphs depicting higher profitability. If you are GOD fearing please consult the persons who are getting affected. Do not treat fellow human beings as a mere factor of production to pay for your next holiday in Europe. God almighty will be with you and your business with prosper.

Yes Sir. Mr Ahmed Mohammed. It is tool with which tackling 20% of the so called worst performers would improve performance by 80%. The tool is used especially in sales and CRM to improve market share , profitability and sales volume. But if put into wrong use to curtail employee benefits (cutting costs) to show higher profits in the short run could be dangerous. Also it is only implemented in the SEZ(ITES) sector in India where union is not allowed. They cannot do a pareto in any Govt dept or unionized CORPORATE SECTOR WHERE IT IS MOST NEEDED. You can check my post about Pareto in (URL removed due to policy violation. Please contact support for further information.).
