Why " Group Discussion", is very much important, in " Interview skills"? Please vote?

This is important because, it will shown some personalities skills possess by different individual.

These skills includes:

1.Interrelational Skill

2.Communication skill

3,Team spirit Skill

4.Sense of Urgency skill

5.Aptitude or Capability Skill.

Group discussion will enable us to know to what extent each individuals possess these aforementioned skills. Group discussion should be encourage during interview session.

So everyone knows the other opinion on the required topic discussed and because the discussion in groups in reaching many solutions, even though they are different in the end will they reach a final debate and true.

If group discussion is considered a skill in an interview then its important to re think. My take as an employer if asked is to under stand the following: 1) Leadership i.e. if you are able to lead the group in a subject that is provided and find out what type of leadership trait you have. 2) Knowledge: to assess your indepth information on the topic provided. 3) Communication: assessment of communication skills which is how well you can convey your opinion and message amongst the group and convince them or are you contributing to the group. 4) Emotions: how well you can take a NO for an answer or how you can confront a negative answer amongst the group.
