I've been putting off answering this question because it really needs an essay.   Here's the quick and dirty version ....

1) Consider firing the manager and getting a new one

2) Figure out the real simple, big reason why the team is struggling.  (And fix it, obviously.)

3) Rearrange the room.  Get everybody involved  in a deep clean, move the desks around, get carpet cleaners in over the weekend, get new plants and pictures, maybe a little new furniture.  Make the place feel fresh.

4) Have daily meetings with the team to analyse the sales funnel.  Look for incremental improvements.  1% here and 1% there doesn't add up - it multiplies up.  Get the funnel right,  Really right.

5) If people need training, give it to them.  If they need a little extra time off to refresh their minds, give it to them.  If they need more responsibility, give it to them.

6) Arrange tangible positive feedback.  Get the production department to come and say how much better it is in the production department when there is plenty to do.

7) Get the whole team involved in making everything better.
