PO = Purchase Order

LOI = A letter of intent

  1. PO is normally the abbreviation for Purchase Order. LOI could mean a Letter of Intent. 
  2. They both could, however, have numerous other meanings e.g. PO - Police Officer.
  3. You need to read the context in which they are used.
