What is the difference between the state of the room out of Order (o.o.o) and Out Of Service(o.o.s)?

Out of Order means, the room is not in a condition to sell. It means any room facilities is not functioning properly. Out of service means the room is blocked for some major renovation.

Out of order and out of services is has different reasons. Out of order room if the room is under a long term renovation, this room cannot be sold due to under construction.

Out of service room if the room has a short term of repair or short damage in the room that is ongoing and this room included for the list of room to be sold but temporarily not in service, this room is given when it is fully occupied the room of the hotel.

OUT OF ORDER (OOO) ROOM MEANS WHICH IS RENOVATED ,UNDERGIONG REPAIRS AND CANNOT BE USED.THESE ROOMS ARE UNAVAILABLE TO SELL.THESE ROOMS ARE DIAPLAYED IN THE TASK SHEETS BUT NOT IN THE TASK COMPANION.                                                                                      OUT OF SERVICE (OOS) ROOMS MEANS IN WHICH TEMPORARY REPAIR IS GIONG ON.THESE TYPE OF ROOMS ARE SHOWN IN STATISTICS AS A VALID ROOM TO BE SOLD BUT IN TASK COMANION.                                                                                                                                                                                                          

Out of Order / Out of Service

Basically, the steps for setting a room Out of Order and Out of Service are the same, but the reasons are quite different:

Out of Order (OOO) is typically used when a room is being renovated, undergoing repairs, or cannot be used. Out of Order works the same as Out of Service except that rooms placed Out of Order no longer figure into availability statistics, which means that rooms placed Out of Order are unavailable to sell, and are deducted from inventory. Rooms that are set Out of Order display in the Task Sheets but do not display in the Task Companion.

Out of Service (OOS) is used to place a room in short term maintenance mode. Out of Service rooms do not deduct from inventory, which means the room will still show in the statistics as a valid room to be sold. Rooms that are set Out of Service display in the Task Sheets but do not display in the Task Companion.

Basically, service our the same its only defends in the situations of facilities. 

In the hotel industry out order means roon can not sell due to room block for major problem.

and out of serviece means room block temperory for minor probleme.
