today to talk about a really good idea she had for a useful change to the project. She expresses frustration to you because she fully expected approval to go ahead with the change, but instead ,she was requested to write a report documenting the specific benefit on the change. As a project manager yourself what would be the most appropriate response?
A. agree with your neighbor that the project manager is just being unreasonable since the benefit documentation is really the project manager responsibility to.
B. advise your neighbor that the cost benefit analysis was already completed during project planning and the project manager must be inexperienced.
C. Tell her you would ask the same for your team member. PM’s need to analyze the benefits of the change vs the cost and compare them to other possible changes.
D. Your neighbour should do what was ask
I think option C is appropriate. Thanks for your invitation.
I think the right answer is C
My answer is option (C) -----------
Option C. Tell her you would ask the same for your team member. PM’s need to analyze the benefits of the change vs the cost and compare them to other possible changes.
The answer is the option c it needs proper analyzes before implementation.
Thanks for your invitation. Option C. as PMs need to analyze the benefits of the change vs the cost and compare them to other possible changes.
Yes "C" is the correct option everybody has a role tto play she has done her part exceptionally well but the PM has to evaluate it from different point-of-view which she need to understand.
The best answer is C. before you act, you must always consider what is the potential impact to the triple constraint (scope, time, cost and quality) and then proceed with a change request to the CCB, gain an approval and after implementing the change
Thanks for the invite.
