Can running alone help me lose weight?

well, as we always say, there is a magic thing that you can do to loss weight or build a healthy lifestyle, "No Pain, No Gain". A balanced weight loss plan is always a combination of changing food habits and good exercise. Also the amount of . water you drink is  major thing in this plan. So, my answer would be no, it might be a solutions for a period of time, but still the main problem won't get solved.

healthy diet is considered 70% of a healthy life style and 30% is for physical activity so running alone will not be effective

It can if it is done with a caloric defect diet 

but it will lead to weight loss which can be rom muscle or fat

but weight training will lead to better body composition

The answer is yes and no. Running alone can not help you lose weight, it has to be included with proper diet, nutrition. What is essential is what you do between those exercises/running, what do you eat, when do you eat etc...

Exercise sporting alone maintain ideal weight only, for lose and underweight should exercise sporting with diet and diet regime
