In India, we feel Telugu, Tamil and Sanskrit are the oldest languages.

In global sense, Arabic, hebru are the oldest, as we know when compared to the earlier mentioned ones, english is the latest and recent one only.

semitic languages are oldest surviving languages . someone might argue on it, as in some places it is said that Tamil is the oldest but again there is contradiction. and then we have mycenean or micenean (i am not sure how it is written, it's Mycenean(micenean) Greek
