A writer's potential is based on the content that he or she presents to the public and based on that exposure, there will be select bunch who prefer a particular writing style. Age does not play a role in this aspect unless you end up forgetting what you want to write due to old age!
But in all seriousness, writing is something that stays alive until the writer is alive. so long story short, no, it's not too late to start writing away your artistic expressions onto paper. But, there is one thing that needs to be kept in mind and that is take crticism whether constructive or destructive, in a positive manner and the most important of all, have fun!
It is not true. It is never too late do whatever you like.
Acccording to me, a writing skill is based on person's mental stability. As long your analization, thinking is strong you can enjoy writing. There is no retirement age for witing ,effective literature doesn't ask for age. A good article or best essay written or a book published doesn't ask what is the age of the writer.
Writing is more of mirroring what you have inside, so you can be a writer as long as you breathe.
As long as you are breathing, it is never to late to be a writer. It is never too late for anything from riding a bicycle to going back to college to earn a degree, learning to play piano or tap dancing to falling in love all over again with a new person. It is never too late to do anything, ever!
Writing does not have a specific age exactly like a student of science writing talent does not have anyone may come after the age of thirty after you get ideas and when you know how to exploit it you will find yourself a distinguished writer and therefore who has the talent can become a writer at any time he wants
There is no such thing as too late to be a writer. Every person undergoes different phases in life where he realizes which things should or could have been done at a specific time. I know of someone who started his blogs (writing career) only after his retirement as a professor from a reputed university. But he didn't consider it was too late for him to do so. After all, writing is a passion.
