How should change management be planned for?

A. Changes are generally not predictable, therefore planning for changemanagement cannot be reasonable.B. Planning for change management should be done while the various change control processes are being applied.C.Change management can be planned in a set of management plans ora specific change management plan.D. Changes are a sign of bad planning. One should avoid changes during a project, thus eliminating the need to manage them.

The most obvious answer is C, however, Change management requires careful planning most importantly understanding the culture of the company and the projected outcome of the processes. It is crucial to get a good understanding of the WHY, HOW and WHEN processes and how they are adequately communicated to all affected by the process directly or indirectly.

The change management process is the sequence of steps or activities that a change management team or project leader should follow to apply change management to a change in order to drive individual transitions and ensure the project meets its intended outcomes.

So the process of managing change should be structured, thoughtful and effective in order to meet project objective.

Therefore answer "C" is the correct one.

thanks for the invitation , Mohamed An war i will try  to answer your question with your options for i know that change of management is very crucial decision , it must be taken when there is strong need to it  and .Change of management can be planned in a set of management plans or specific change management plan ( option c )

Answer - C

It is an iterative process of integration mgmt and should planned through Perform integrated change control' which will be a specific mgmt plan.

only those changes should be approved by PM which will not impact the approved baselines and and also the project desired completion date.

And remaining changes should go through the integration process.
