Some times leaders lose their direction completely ,though they have all needed skills, so what should they do accordingly
When leader loses direction, he should returns to organization's vision and strategy and rebuild his plans according to them
Direction and Lost Direction is known only to open eyes! But when you close your eyes, vision is visible. One has to close the eyes to recollect where was lost and gain back the direction. Let the leader close his/her eyes for meditating stage and visualise the past and recognise the invisible lost direction to get back to track.
You must re-planning and determine its direction...
Keep Calm, Find Map, and Go on
Go. back to basics.
- What is the stretch vision for 5 years time?
- Where are we now?
- What are the fewest number of steps to get between the two?
- How can we take the first step with whatever resources and assets available right now?
Take massive action, find a way or make a way.
they should review the vision of company and goals, and start make new plan after eliminating all mistakes happened in last plan. then discuss this new plan with team deeply, if any has valuable point add it to your plan
The plan should be with time frame
He has to stop and use a compass and stems in the right direction
Pause - Refocus - Take Support - Get Inspired - Begin Again!
Oh you cant afford to loose direction if you are leading. You just cant if you are a leader and a natural one at that.
But if this still happens, one should be aware of the reason he is leading his team and to where. the Vision, mission, objectives should be enough to remind of where he was going. i always have in front of me my White Board, which guides me everyday, where i should be headed.
