As a brand, which social media platform is better to leave out? Why?

It totally depends on your brand. But if i were to talk generally, I'd leave out Vine and G+. Tumbr has a lot of Viral-able potential and pinterest makes everything look pretty so i wouldn't leave those out just yet :)

Vine, Pinterest and Tumblr in my opinion, should be left out because of the user base which are too eager to start conflict for the sake of it. Along with that, they can even slander your brand for no reason, very common on tumblr. Pinterest's user base is not that active and vine is limited in use.

Hey Sarah, As a brand it would depend on the type of acquisition you are looking at. If it's a B2B market I would suggest more to focus on LinkedIn and Google AdWords and if its a B2C market then opting out LinkedIn would be a better option than other social media platforms.
