In my opinion some of the fundamental books for leadership and business management are;

 

  • The Practice of Management / The Effective Executive - Peter F. Drucker The late Peter F. Drucker is the most influential management thinker of the 20th Century
  • The art of war - Sun Tzu
  • straight from the gut-  Jack welch

there are many books, however it would be great if focus on one particular field and search for books written by the pioneers of those fields.
