Why Wave Power Has Lagged Far Behind as Energy Source, as the world are looking to increase as a renewable energy source?

because wave power needs a lot of maintenance. its not because of efficient power it provides but because the ocean itself is unpredictable. although we do get everyday updates about the weather but the equipment we install for wave power needs look-after. and that is. at the moment not a suitable task to do because we have a lot more other sources of power that we need to invest in. think of same in investment in solar power and imagine the outcome.

One renewable energy source, however, seems to be lagging behind all the others, wave power. In spite of hundreds of different theories and designs, wave power is perhaps the least-exploited renewable energy source in the world. The fact is, the ocean is a dangerous place, not only for human beings, but also for machinery and electronics.
