Both are different role and MCSA not mandatory for gathering CCNA.

But it is better to gather MCSA and CCNA.

After my MCSA attainment I then moved on to CCNA Routing and Switching

MCSE can be prioritized if it is focused on only Microsoft technologies. For a System Administrator, it may be more useful to have both MCSE and CCNA certificates together.

When you go for CCNA and specialized in some security, definitely you"ll have edge over other Microsoft certified administrators and will land you in good position.

MCSA is a Microsoft specialist, whereas. CCNA is Cisco property where each certificate concentrating in own special field. However, it would be good if you gather both technologies Microsoft and Cisco. good luck!
