In the first I would like to thank you for your question. For me the first thing I have to teaching him, the used method to complete the work in the department then the direct manager method at work and some things that must be avoided. Then he can keep working as required.
First of all give him/ her time to check all the files, documentation, emails and specially give the time to check all the previous data of the computer in his / her use. As the individuals previous experience it will take little time to coop with the things. One very important thing is that, a sufficient time is required each individual to learn and get expertise, so don't hurry to make him / her expert in days, it will take weeks. The most important is that first u has to make s synchronization with him / her then u can get all the jobs done in the way you want. In clear word you have to teach first then to get out put.
