Creative writing is a natural process therefore, I doubt that classes would introduce anything new aside from brainstorming, research techniques and a few writing tips. So classes would help to improve just from a technical standpoint and not from creative writing since its down to your own thoughts you create.

Reading a lot encourages you to improve and polish your skills in the creative writing, besides, it encourages you to search for your inner entity and your own style.

Yes, certainly with seriousness because the creative work needs to be rehearsed

No, creative writing is anything  to express rather than sharing information. Just need to create the mental space to write our stories.

Yes, of course. Unless you are exceptionally gifted, you need to take pertinent classes on Creative Writing so you would know how to develop your style and the technique.

Sure, taking classes in creative writing will help you improve your writing style and recognize new words and sophisticated methods and thus improve.
