Do fuses better protect a motor than circuit breakers? Are fuses more fast acting than circuit breakers? appreciate your answers in details

Fuses are use one a time and beaker use many times Fuses are probably good for low voltage equipment's but not usually good for motors which needs to spike a power to start.so that breaker's provide a batter protection for motors.

yes the reason behind this

Normally from mains we had fuse rating is less compare with circuit breakers ,than mounting of the fuse is before the circuit breaker.if any abnormal condition is occur first fuse will blown.

I don’t prefer to use fuse protection for three phase motors, in case of one of these fuses extinguished so we will lose one phase, which lead to totally burn for the motor.

I prefer to use circuit breaker with overload thermal relay based on the motor load calculations.
