It's not necessary to quit your current job to become a full-time writer. All you need is time management in order to fulfill your duties in your job as well as to pursue your passion in writing

No, especially if I write for money as well; giving me 2 salaries. Being a full time writer has its disadvantages and one of them, in my experience working as a freelance translator, being cheated out of your payment from those you work for. Nowadays, a secure salary is important so if you have a full-time job I advise to keep it.
