as a quality management professional, we should not forget that we have to equate cost to quality in a business angle and perspective. The ultimate objective of a business is revenue and profit. That's why, Quality Managers, tend to forget this item. Project cost suffers as a matter of fact because of these as quality managers empahiszed the importance of quality value to the stakeholders and part of customer service - but they don't cosider the cost impact of these (sometimes). question is which do you prefer you deliver a quality project but your cost suffers (no profit worst you loss profit). that's why, at the onset of budget deliberations, these two should not be forgotten, best should be equated.

Most important point to note in any quality systems is the cost benefit analysis. What is the benefit of a qulaity system which is expensive than the benefits it provide to the organization. So it is far better for a qulaity system to provide efficiency, economy & effectiveness to the organization.
