It is a method of classifying and evaluating soil subgrade and base course materials for flexible pavements. CBR is a measure of resistance of a material to penetration of standard plunger under controlled density and moisture conditions.
This test method is used to evaluate the potential strength of subgrade, subbase, and base course materials, including recycled materials for use in the design of road and airfield pavements. The CBR value obtained in this test forms an integral part of several flexible pavement design methods.
The CBR test is fully described in BS1377: Part 9: 1990 Soils for civil engineering purposes. It was first developed by the California State Highway Department and is used in the field as an arbitrary strength test which is considered to stress soils and replicate wheel loads.
The CBR test forms part of the site investigation and is used to determine the thickness of materials needed for the proposed road construction.

when show your confidence that this test is 100% currect and also show some other tast that every test has their proper number and we fallow that number so their is no chance to mixx or incorrect and all this will have a smily face and confidence if after that he dout so tell him we will do it once again for him
