Thanks for the invitation. Memo is written for communication within an organization. Report is written about accomplishments, research, etc. while a letter is usually written to a person outside an organization.

Memo is usually an internal documment, ment to remind specific facts; the name of the company, logo, etc can be missing; the style should be concise, precise and brief

Letter is a more formal documment, very often external, therefore the shape and the content of the documment should be more detailed and literal

Report is a documment issued by a specialist, very often for the top management. The content should be very specific, as detailes as possible (minor detailed may be missing, depending on the case) and should offer a clear picture of a specific matter, as seen by the author; may contain recommendations or estimations; style shoud be concise and precise; from case to case, it can be not very official, yet not informal

All of these are source of communication but all of these are addressed differently from one to the other to serve their respective purpose

Memo : Is written to deliver a common message or brief update or to notify team members and is announced publicly

Letter : Is written to an individual focusing on specific individual or considering specific individual and this doesn't go public

Strategy : Its a plan, a process which needs explanation and discussions at common place for those related to be part of it

Strategy is when you come with a process on how best you get the job done. When writing a strategy for report you are recommending / summarizing what course of action that should betaken to avoid a certain problem in the future.

Memo is a general notice of strategy that is to notify people of action that needs to be taken or strategy to be taken in general

Letter is more personal recommendation about a strategy that need s to be taken delivered to the individual privately.

Basic difference

Business memos are internal documents sent to employees to convey information about the company, while business letters are external communiqués, often related to sales activities or customer needs or to query a vendor or government agency. The formatting is different for both.
