Apple seems to be following the strategy of "Less is more" because they keep removing hardware and decrease accessibility in their products then label it as "Innovation". Do you think this strategy will work for them or will their products stop mattering?
Yes, Mac still good. Because there is so many things now that you can easily use and options.
Yes without a doubt, retiring the USB and replacing them with Firewire and Thunderbolt has clearly worked, that said wireless data transfers are the way forward and this will drive innovation towards simplified and yet higher and more sophisticated wireless data transfer technologies. Wireless data transfers also provide some level of security and the risk of virus transfers by pen drives is eliminated.
Offcourse because apple has come with the innovation of technology and the same ease of use will make the customer to work more and most importantly it will save the time of the users. At same time usb Ports is not that safety and the same time now option are cloud is ueage to store your data and for ease of access without loosing.
Yes They does it takes time for people to get fully comfortable with the wireless sharing most of the people still believs in sharing data through pendrives.
There is substantial differences between Mac and Microsoft. The pro are founded upon both the hardware and software. Hardware wise, many may find that Mac systems are not interchangeable for example, however they are more sturdy and robust and deliver some more poignant facets unmatched by Microsoft.
Software wise, Mac is also hardier and less penetrable by unwanted guests. This facet also renders the Mac less user friendly particularly for new users. The Mac quality is unsurpassed particularly for graphics and more professional presentations.
For Microsoft, the hardware is very interchangeable and versatile yet in more ways than one, it is however flimsy and easily damaged but cheap to replace. Software wise it is also more adaptable but also more vulnerable to intrusions by unwanted visitors to the system such as virus vulnerabilities, corruption of files and folders and degradation of quality particularly in graphics.
apple users will always use it because of the mac os and its easy nature for them and as for the port there are some solutions to that such as dongles and hubs
I don't think it's more "Innovational" than its "Profitable" to Apple. Unfortunately, Apple did the same thing with their cell phones "iPhone 5" & Later versions by changing them charger cord plugs that can only be works with the newest cell phones.
It would not be a surprise at all when other companies starts to follow the same lead as Apple did with their products.
In my opinion, the whole thing doesn't make any sense when Apple started to force customers to pay a little more than they should because consumers become a little too loyal to this brand somehow.
My answer is, their strategy might not work for long term because ppl will find a replaceable product other than Mac.
