Which social media marketing platform (e.g. Facebook, twitter etc.) is being used highly in gulf countries and why?

The answer to this question depends on which countries we're talking about because generally speaking, every country within the GCC have their own social media trends. For example, Saudi Arabia doesn't seem to have good interaction on Facebook as much as they do on Twitter, Snapchat, or Youtube. However, if you take a look at Dubai, you'll see that there's greater interaction on Facebook than there is on Twitter. 

A study regarding the behavior of the country with regards to social media is important in order to get the correct answer and understand where the marketing efforts need to be implemented.
