Temperature are managed in 3-steps

1. Understanding chemical reaction process of heat of hydration,

² Manage required W/C ratio, more will increase heat of hydration & other issues & lesser with compensation of water reducers like polycarboxylate ethers will delay hydration process.

2. Manage material temperature, like aggregate, sand, water & cement.

² Require use of ice for water, Aggregate, sand, & cement stored in shades, etc

3. Environment temperature is major factor,

² In hot climate suitable time is early morning or after midnight is suitable time,

² Moisten surface, steel reinforcement, and form work prior to concrete placement.

² Control & limit wind velocities and sunshades to reduce concrete surface temperatures.

² Using accelerator admixtures in hot weather conditions substantially shorted the times to initial and final set & for rapid placement and consolidation.

² Cover with plastic sheets to maintain initial moisture.

² Curing as soon as possible after the concrete finishing processes have been completed.

² Lot of things depends on QC expert.

- use the good water cement ratio in mix design.

- you can also use special type of cement.

- put the used material in shadow .

- Avoid excessive mixing time
