There is no better or worst in comparing AutoCAD and Revit. They are to different types of programs, but both are used in the same field of work. In the drafting field you need to know both.
both have it's important it depends upon the user which one he prefer in drawing walls adding floors in all these things revit is good and for drawing plan in 2d auto is better and easy
Revit is a BIM tool works in 3D environment and could be used to produce 2D CAD drawings.
REVIT IS MODERN PROGRAM AND BETER THAN AUTOCAD
Revit has some nice integrated documentation tool. other than that the main deference I can see is, all project information is contained with in one file with revit, where s it is contained within a number of files in Autocad, but can have various files that link together just like Xrefs.
REVIT is better than AUTO-CAD. REVIT has future...
Both have their own benefits. But have to say that Revit really Reduced the effort and gives more out come than the Auto Cad
REVIT IS MORE FLEXIBLE THAN AUTOCAD
Revit is better than AutoCad
The two are irreplaceable and it depends on the user and function. AutoCAD still remains the best tool for the Electrical details and similar works while Revit is better in Architectural and Civil Drawings.
Revit is better then autocad because it provide users with much efficient way to deal with drawing. In revit by drawing 2d plan one can get 3d automatically drawn thus saving time and increasing efficiency. Moreover revit also provides with schedules of different elements like doors windows walls etc which autocad doesn't.
