Why transformers rating is only kva ?

KVA = Kilo Volt Ampere

it is the total power( complex power ) ( apparent power )

and the complex power consist of two part : real power(Watt)+ Reactive power(var)

 

because we have core losses and copper losses in the power transformer we rated it in KVA 

Total power ( real power and reactive power )
