3-6 months time is good enough to check the rankings of your website. It do depends on the competitions but recommended changes on website and off page work definitely show some movement on ranking.

You need to get some reports from your team both link building and ranking history. Please note that 1st to 2nd page of Google might move slow if competition is very high.

If you need any help, let me know.

Good Luck !

If your website has been properly optimize for search taking into considering mobile, quality relevant backlinks, long tail keywords, user experience and content that targets your primary audiences and if your target audiences are resonating with the content then it should not take long. This should be within1-3 months because of the recent Google update known as Penguin4.0 "Live". In the past, it would be somewhere between3 months and6 months. It will also depend on the age, target keywords and size of your website.

SEO is quite a complex and delicate subject. Sometimes, someone says they are very good at it and will optimize your website but in the end you endup loosing your previous position for the worst.

Sack those guys working on your SEO. I will happily replace them and give you the results you want.

Hello Sara,

If it is a new website, with a good unique content and good SEO implementation, you will need up to 3 months to start showing in search results, and up to 6 months to start getting good traffic from search.

If it is an old established website, where you made SEO enhancements, you may start seeing results within few days or weeks, depending on the website size, age, competition level...etc.

In all cases, whenever you do a change, fitch the pages as google and as for re-index for the page and pages linked from it (usually Homepage) will do the trick, I would also re-submit the sitemaps to accelerate the process.

Good Luck.

3 months is a good enough period to have some improvement in the keywords rankings, however if you're expecting to come to the 1st page might take a while depending on the keywords competition and the efforts you put into the seo campaign.

It depends on the extent of SEO, the website, the theme used and other such variables. If you are noticing early results it is either due existing SEO or black hat SEO.

5-6 months is the timeframe to see SEO results. In my experience you can start noticing if the campaign is going to give any results in 2-3 months.  Hope this makes sense!

This is a vey common question and like most things in the SEO space - it depends! Most SEO efforts' fruits can be reaped after a minimum of 3-6 months. Although some SEO efforts can take place in a shorter time frame, like optimizing for a low competitive keyword or publishing a new piece of content (like the commonly seen spike followed by a dip in traffic).

Well just keep on working for your assigned targeted keywords and don't forget that while you are working on the results tracking, your competitors must be working on the SEO that time.
