Would it be better if a customer visits your store alone or when he is accompanied with his/her family?

Sometimes it's better to have customers visit your store when they are alone because their attention is fully given to you. However, if they come with children, they might be distracted by the children's behavior and this might ruin your chances of a potential sale.

Do you agree with this? Why or why not?

For Expert Salesman, doesn't matter, as he/she have the ability to get the customer attention and close the deal

I as a salesman would prefer customer comes with family and I will treat him and his family members as individual customers as it gives me chance to sell aura of products to whole family.

May be family helps the main decision maker in making the buying decision and wife and kids come up with their demands and I as salesman will go all out in identifying their demands.

Yes I totally agree with the answer as I do feel right when customers comes alone to visit the store as they have their mind set on a particular thing rather than keeping an eye on their family/children.

Usually the visit with a family is a better chance to sell. Why? because many time the decision maker or the important decision influence comes from another member in the family, the wife, a child or a common decision.

for me I prefere if the customer accompanied with his family as i sell tours and arrange Packeges so i need to know every member`s opinion and preffered spots to arrange the package with much fun and attracted sightseengs
