Recent research says consumers are less loyal with the brands they use frequently.Why is it so it should have been the other way round.Please explain?

Yes the main reason behind that is

1. Choices/ Competition.

2. Marketing 

Earlier the consumer had less choices but now in this competitive market the consumer has lot of options for the same product. That is also one reason why these brands have to be on their toes, always innovating their product to remain in the competition.

Another is the reach factor which has increased drastically thanks to the marketing activities and usage different platform like Social media platforms.

Brands are adopting various ways to reach out to the consumers, adopting different communication strategies to create awareness and even incentivize the customers with attractive offers which motivates the customers to atleast try a new brand.
