Sustainable procurement is the process by which organization meets their needs of goods and services in a way that generates benefits for organization during the entire life cycle of products (including services) and further benefits the society, community and minimizes negative impact to environment. Economic benefits implies revenues and cost (initial cost, operation and maintenance cost, demolition cost, recycling cost) during product or project life cycle; social benefits refers to the notion of equality, justice, safety, security, employment conditions, empowerment which fosters a spirit of individual excellence and harmonious teamwork in ethical working environment; environmental management refers to minimizing pollution to air, soil, water and conserving natural resources;  ecological balance; promoting health and safety
