It is said that1 of6 things will motivate a person in life:
1- Certainty (Certainty that you will put your children through school, or certainty that you can provide for your family, etc.)
2- Uncertainty (This means having a general desire for excitement in life and not being certain of what might come next)
3- Significance (Being known as a person, being significant in front people for doing something good)
4- Contribution (Wanting to give back to society, being charitable, or always helping people out)
5- Love & connection (Wanting to feel loved by the people around you and feeling more connected)
6- Growth (Wanting to grow in every aspect of your life)
Please choose one of the following and explain your reason.
Why only choose one, when you can choose all? Motivation doesn't arise from a specific, compartmentalized ground. Everything that surrounds a person can be a motivating factor, be it logical or nonsensical. We live in a world whereby logic is preceded by something illogical, lessons are learned from experience and growth is obtained from both external and internal environments. Sure, we can identify each of what motivates us, in every particular situation, but we can never say that it is the only motivating factor we derive our strengths from. So, If I may, I would like to select all, and probably more than that, since right now, I felt motivated in answering this question due to the fact that I did not agree to select only one answer from the list as stated.
Motivation is the willingness to achieve something in life. For me motivation is setting goals and achieving it regardless of what hurdle arise
I am motivated by positive compliments from the customers, management and co-workers as well, which encourage me to strive harder in order to achieve what we call "customer satisfaction"
Challenges and hunger for success
Depending on the situation it can be: a desire to be creative, to feel needed, to help others, to contribute to
a company/family, to work collaboratively with others
My best motivation in life is to constantly seek for improvement in myself. To create a better version of myself , may it be in the aspect of career, health or attitude.
Success and Challenges are my motivations
I am self Motivated and self Driven Person
my personal experience is motivating me every single day of my life, i learnt a lot from my ups and downs of my life and career, which means time is important and life goals are the guide to be a better person, and a better life ahead.
when the team feels the same pressure as i do then makes me super happy to work more happily and that is life
