Will complimenting your boss and forming a good relationship with them actually benefit you in climbing up the career ladder?
Do you think it is ethical to do such a thing?
Genuine praise always works but complimenting just to be in good books proves that you dont have talent to get your self noticed rather using these small tricks to be part of his list. This technique doesn't work with all type of leaders but hard work and commitment will never go out of fashion.
There is no harm to compliment the boss, it will create room of understanding where not only you will be closer with him or her but there will be a space where you can express own views when necessary to maintain day to day matters.
If you were to compliment for objective and impartial reasons, then you should do it without pretentiousness
You have to be honest and sincere with yourself, never lie
You will never get what you want in this way ( to complimente all time to get on the good side), if not you will prove that you are hypocrite
You should get what you deserve by your sweat, effort, skills, perseverance, intelligence, determination, creativity...
Thanks
No, I should not, only my achievements and behavior rise my profile other wise I do not need anything.
You have to develop good working relation ship and understanding with your boss, Just complimenting without your own performance may degrade your value and may create adverse effect instead of beneficial.
No , Never . I'd complement him where he really deserves and i'd mean them rather than complementing him/her regardlessly . Nobody with self-respect appreciates that . U should praise him/her but at the same time u should hold ur ground with valid reason and do come constructive criticism and discussion . Thus he/she would understand that what u r saying in complement is true and u mean it . thank u.
will not complain to boss i will try hard to solve it, to achievements the target
It always advisable to have a working relationship with your manager but constant compliments is not advisable as it could be considered unprofessional
Thank u for the invitation
No u don't have
