Client tends to be used for service industries and customer for product industries, but they basically mean the same thing. Client also tends to be used when there is an ongoing relationship or when the seller knows the customer's name before the purchase is agreed, or when there is extended negotiation.
Customer is a more general term for somebody who buys something.
A customer and a client might mean the same in some areas of business but there are areas where they slightly differ, a costomer buys goods and service whilsta client who can also be a costomer, but will receive proffessional services for a fee.
client mean client...
customer mean customer...
hahhahahaha
Customer could be the one who come to your doorstep for purchasing any item once and may not come repeatedly but Clients are bonded by a relation that they will first prefer you at all their purchasing consideration and they may deflect only when you are not able to satisfy them with your best and affordable serviceability.
