Hello, of course I use jira. I think this is one of the best software or srm that can be used for different purposes and in different ways. In addition, in order to analyze the data received from the jira, I recommend paying attention to this software to make a jira reports. This is an excellent and inexpensive software.

Does anyone use Jira? I can't figure out how to integrate jira with other business tools.

Managing outsourced teams with multicultural point of views is a real challenge.

The best tools is to have a suit of source control, bug tracking, agile aware, continual integration with testing suits, knowledge base and documentation.

The Atlassian Suit, Confluence, jira, bamboo and bickbucket and git client repository suits very well for this task. Jira and Jira Agile allows to create Sprints and manage teams and task in a very clear way.

There are other open source alternatives like Trac with SVN and Bitten for continual Integration, but Trac fails to integrate with Agile methodology even with the SCRUM plugin, so is necessary to use other tools to complement with in order to manager the team, sprint  and user histories.

In the other hand, no tools in enough if the team don;t follow basic rules like coding styles and development behavior like commit everyday , create test cases, documentation, etc..

All those suits loaded in a corporate site with credentials or with a VPN for even more security are great for manage and having control of the team.
