To be a successful MEP Engineer, following is a must:-

1. Take ownership of tender documents i.e. Tender Drawings, Specifications & BOQ related to your service.

2. Take Qty Take-off from IFC Drawings & prepare a Matrix Format for ready reference.

3. Actively involve in preparation of Shop Drawings, Material Submittals, Method Statements.

4. Actively involve in the control of Material, Work Front & Manpower utilization.

5. Follow in disciplinary manner all EHS clauses of site. Wear PPE at site.

6. Refer all approved ID Drawings / Structural Drawings & incorporate in the preparation of Shop drawings for RCP, Co-ordination, Builder's Work.

7. Foresee the problem areas related to installations from site conditions / shop drawings & raise RFI / CVI for site related clarifications.

8. Raise Work Inspections for various stages of installations.

9. Co-ordinate actively with other trades at site viz. ID, Civil, Structural etc.

10. Attend all site meetings conducted from time to time.

11. Be a part of Monthly Progress claim for work progress.

12. Monitor & communicate with Site Supervisors / Charge hands on daily basis for Work Progress.

13. Involve in T&C  Activities, As-Built & O&M Manual preparation, Sang List clearance & thereafter handover activity with Client Representatives.

14. Maintain Safe, Healthy & Friendly relations & welfare with site team. Ensure safety procedures, tools are used at site & house keeping activities are followed.

15. Identify & prepare documentation for variation claims.
