If its the page for an individual selling second hand goods then its OK but if its a re-seller using a company name then its a problem and should be tackled. Some also hide information intentionally which is un-ethical.

I think such pages are a boon for small traders who don't have enough of a budget or enough expertise to set up an online or an offline store. Now anyone can start selling through Facebook pages by simply uploading a picture of their product and sharing it with their own friends , it gives anyone one the freedom and leisure to sell. As for fees, as of 2016, Facebook's organic reach of a page or a single post is probably less than 25% which means the post or the page will not reach anyone other than your friends circle on Facebook. If you want to reach a wider audience, you will have to pay for Facebook adverts and page likes. This will allow your products to be suggested to your friends friend and their friends and so on. So fees is involved if the seller wants to reach a larger audience.

Yes it is ethical for them to sell via their facebook page without paying fees as writen in facebook polices, but they can pay fees to boost their page popularity and have more fans if they wish to do so.

facebook has become legendary so to keep up businesses forward people are sometimes using it to sell as long as this option is found in facebook it is okey to use and sell product but there must be some limitations example theyshouldn't use a company logo or name to benefit from it in the selling process this would be not ethical at all !

As long as it is legal, People would still take advantage of the tremendous traffic on Facebook site. However, Facebook should enact new rules that are being clear for those who use Facebook pages as e-commerce. If Facebook does not take an action against using pages without paying fees, it might consider as ethical. I think Facebook is a great opportunity for sellers and they would love to use Facebook pages whether it has fees or not.

You get what you paid for. If they want to be as successful as the facebook ecommerce pages can be, let them enter at their own risk.

y not ! it is a smart marketing. Any opportunity by  organically leveraging social networks to enhance sale is great for overall ROI .  As  fas as the  question of ethical is concern until the time no malicious ways are adopted to reach out to consumers , it is benefical for both , network & brand

Facebook used to provide marketplace facility in past & via using its APIs we can create a lot of things. Facebook itself provides the SHOP feature for FREE. so it's totally ethical to sell on it as far as you're fulfilling all the guidelines & not selling anything unethical.

This is very common now, not only through communication sites, but even in the streets. It is true illegal but we note that Elvis Book has dominated everything and has been providing solutions in our lives not only sales, we also note that doctors are open pages to answer the questions of followers and specialists to provide guidance and advice Valvis Facebook overwhelmed everything, why pay taxes and Costs There are sites that are accessible in our daily lives
