Should Quality Control Manager follow His/Her Work Administrator decisions and policies in managing work flow?

The Quality control means firstly a good quality of raw materials and then the final products to be under the specification of product to apple from your costumer under self life condidition for storage in the market .
In this point the administrator plans will able to rise and sales and production rate will be raise respectively .

QC is doing a job to check if the product is according to standard specifications within acceptable range that is KNOWN, UNDERSTOOD and AGREED.
They are not RESPONSIBLE for production and volume of produce.
They are not RESPONSIBLE for the DESIGN of the product.
They are ONLY responsible for the CONFORMITY of the SAMPLE to the standard or design.
As a NORM, QC is not under WORKING ADMINISTRATION on the authority of REJECTING the sample, that leads to rejection of the lot.
What would be the ultimate result or impact of saying YES to Production Manager, nature of product or customer may determine.
The compromise may produce DEATH or ILLNESS in case when product is a medicine or food; It may be a disaster if the product is a civil design.
The product may be a decorative paint that just fades its color shade.
As a general rule of the QC job a YES or NO should be done to ensure a Quality product that is according to specified, AGREED and IMPLIED requirements.
Depending upon situation, DESIGN REVIEW and PROCESS IMPROVEMENT may be involved under top-management leadership ...caring for ultimate responsibility of business results.
Ideally, QC is to be powerful to say NO with justification and a proof.

Quality dept is part of the business value chain in short.
Its up to the QAM to convience the bosses on the implications of undermining quality deliverance to the business as a whole ..Certain instances can be given concessions to operate under as corrective measures are being effected ....Give the bosses enough reason why you /them should work a solution faster

Simple answer, if there are any deviation from the specification, QC need to highlight the issue and reject the production, if the production/ operation manager wants the product to go through, then he/ she needs to sign a concession.

 

That will coverthe Quality Control Department, and appease to the business needs 

Standards to be pre-documented to manage our decisions , and should be our guidance to decide the Quality Control Requirements .

As in charge for Quality Assurance I have to make sure the Quality Measurement must take palce as risking the Quality Levels could highly affect the Production and Sales Outputs.

He / She should be bale to convince me with subjective and resanable justifications .

I can diffenity say , Yes ,or No.

Breaking the rules could be on the lowest levels of execeptions and wit the least levels of justified risks in favor of business success.
